Projects We Pursue
The core business of the Treasure Experience² is to create the most exciting adventure website on the Internet through our expertise in researching and evaluating a myriad historic shipwreck projects worldwide. Projects and expeditions will be classified into three categories based upon the type of response expected from membership as well as the most positive historic, cultural, academic and financial impact. The categories are as follows:
Historic, Cultural and Academic
These discoveries focus solely on the impact they have on history and the knowledge they provide to humanity. Finds like the Titanic would fall into this category.
Commercially Viable
Target recoveries in this category focus on the financial benefit of the find outside of any historical relevance. A fully decayed shipwreck which carried legal tender/specie would belong here.
Environmental Risk
Historical discoveries that pose an environmental threat, such as hazardous materials such as dangerous chemicals and petroleum products leaking on the bottom of the sea.
