Terms and Conditions
The terms on which we make this site and the member portal available, and what membership is and is not.

This document is in force but not yet final. Our registered company details are being added. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, ask us through the contact form and we will answer it directly.
These terms
These are the terms on which The Treasure Experience² makes this website and its member portal available. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Membership is not an investment
This one matters, so it comes first.
A Community or Charter membership is a subscription to content and access. It is not a security, not a share, and not an investment. It gives you no ownership of the company, no share of any discovery, no claim on any artifact recovered, and no right to any financial return of any kind.
TRZX is a separate security token with its own documentation, its own terms and its own risks. Nothing on the membership pages, in the portal, or in the PROVENANCE letter is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy TRZX or any other security, and nothing here should be read as investment advice. Buying a membership gives you no rights in relation to TRZX, and holding TRZX gives you no membership.
Your account
You need an account to use the portal. Give us accurate information and keep it current. Accounts are for one person. Do not share your credentials, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Membership levels
Community membership is free and opens the Virtual Museum, the community forum and member dispatches.
Charter membership additionally opens live dive feeds, daily dive logs, full expedition dossiers and the roundtable archive. Charter is a single payment rather than a subscription, and it does not expire or renew.
Charter membership is not open for sign up at the time of writing. When it opens, the price and what it includes will be shown before you pay.
What each level includes may change as the programme develops. We will not take away something you have already paid for.
Payment and refunds
Prices are in United States dollars and include no taxes that may apply where you live.
If you are unhappy with a Charter membership, write to us within fourteen days of paying and we will refund it in full, provided you have not downloaded expedition dossiers or roundtable recordings in that time.
Where the law gives you a stronger right to cancel, for example as a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, that right stands and nothing here reduces it.
What you may do with our material
The footage, photographs, dive logs, dossiers, artifact records, written material and the PROVENANCE letter are ours or are used with permission. You may read, watch and download them for your own personal, non commercial use as a member.
You may not republish, redistribute, sell or make them public, and you may not scrape the site or use it to train a machine learning model. Live streams and recordings are for members and are not to be rebroadcast.
Quoting a short passage of the PROVENANCE letter with attribution and a link is fine, and welcome.
What you post
You keep ownership of what you post in the forum or send us. By posting it you give us permission to display it on the site and to keep it there as part of the conversation.
Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights, and do not post confidential site coordinates or anything that would put a wreck at risk. We may remove anything that breaks this and may close accounts that repeatedly do.
Expeditions are uncertain
Shipwreck exploration does not run to a timetable. Weather, permits, equipment, funding and the sea itself decide what happens and when.
Nothing on this site is a promise that any particular expedition will take place, that any dive will be streamed at a given time, that any object will be recovered, or that anything found will have any particular historical or financial value. Schedules and plans are our current intentions, not commitments.
Availability
We aim to keep the site and the portal running, but we do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site.
Liability
The site and everything on it are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind so far as the law allows.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending your membership
You can close your account at any time by asking us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where we do so for a serious breach we may do it without a refund.
Changes
We may change these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and we will tell members by email if the change is significant. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Treasure Experience² is established, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
